It's painfully obvious that the game was initially a mobile game, and the PC port doesn't do much to accommodate for the new platform. The quick-time events that pervade the combat turn the game into a chore, and there isn't really any part that makes the grind worth it.

If you are looking for a brand new type of RPG, then this is not the game for you. If you are looking for a good RPG with a fun and unique setting that will keep you entertained for hours, then Light Apprentice is your game. It will provide a sense of adventure and excitement that many games miss.

As is, this is an okay way of killing a few hours, but it might be worth holding off until at least Volume 2 is out to get a fuller experience.
