Tartarus shows off some excellent puzzles aboard a disappointingly empty spaceship, but it's usually more charming than frustrating.
Tartarus' few good ideas are outweighed by the frustrating puzzle design and lackluster plot, giving you little reason to keep playing.
The debut game of Abyss Gameworks has some very nice and unique ideas but fails to deliver its full potential. The fact that it makes you ask for more means Abyss Gamesworks is on the right track and I'm quite sure we'll see some bigger games from them in the future.

Beating Tartarus is no easy job, but it does not mean that Tartarus was not a great experience. I highly recommend Tartarus if you are up to some challenging puzzle adventure.
