Game News Plus's Reviews

Dec 6, 2018

If you want to have a casual fishing experience or a game that you can play maybe a couple of hours a day, this can be a good game for you. However, I actually suggest waiting a little bit more before buying the DLC as it has a couple of bugs and the original game should be enough for you for a while.

All in all, if you want to play a new story which is 5-8 hours long, this DLC is perfect for you. You won't regret buying it as it actually offers a small portion of everything that you might expect from a DLC. Beast of Winter is a good story addition to the original game. And I strongly recommend trying it out.

7.6 / 10.0 - Moonlighter
Sep 28, 2018

Moonlighter is a mixture of dungeon crawling and shop managing games with a unique, randomized dungeon creation principle. It has simple combat mechanics, simple yet important management features and impressively beautiful pixel art-work. However, it is not an action game or an RPG. This game is perfect for people who would like to relax after a stressful day. If you like dungeon crawlers and shop managing games, this game is just perfect for you. However, if you are looking for a more engaging game, you might want to look somewhere else.

I enjoyed every bits and pieces of The Gardens Between and I admired every garden of it. My only regret is that the game is kind of short.

7.6 / 10.0 - Sleep Tight
Jul 29, 2018

I am not a fan of one map, same enemies and fixed forts and turrets and I believe that I would enjoy Sleep Tight in co-op more, but if you are into tower defense, Sleep Tight offers a very different environment and enjoyable gameplay.

6.9 / 10.0 - Antigraviator
Jul 3, 2018

Even though there are bits and pieces I dislike, I enjoyed Antigraviator very much since it is basically an adrenaline shot which gets out of control after some time.

Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire offers a unique experience with classic RPG mechanics, modern visuals - sounds and a new ship management feature. As a sequel, it both keeps the best parts of its predecessor and manages to stay unique on its own. This game is a must for RPG fans and it deserves every single penny you pay for it.

8.1 / 10.0 - Dead In Vinland
Apr 16, 2018

I love that how the story-telling is so successful and intense while gameplay is so much fun and lively. You do not try to survive, you settle with them. Seeing your settlement grow bigger and bigger is enough to put a smile on your face and doing it in a way so stainless is a huge success.

5.8 / 10.0 - Extinction
Apr 16, 2018

Extinction is a game with potential which was ruined by bad pricing and bad gameplay/story decisions. It could've been a better game if it had a cheaper price with more features. However, in its state, it only fails to be an impressive game. If you are a huge fan of action games, and if you don't mind repetitive gameplay with weak storyline, but with good graphics and sound effects, you can go ahead and try it. Otherwise, I'd recommend waiting for an update or a discount.

8 / 10.0 - Bombslinger
Apr 16, 2018

Bombslinger is fun... a lot fun! Moreover, it is pretty cheap and available on Steam, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. If you like pixel-art games with detailed and beautiful visuals and want to have some nostalgia along with new features, this game is a must. Especially if you enjoy casual games which offer fun gameplay and which you can play every day for an hour or two and have tons of fun. You will not regret buying this game.
