Diehard fans of tuning and tweaking cars may enjoy a half dozen hours or so here, but for most people, Drift Zone is simply an unremarkable experience that makes a strong case for curation of the Xbox digital storefront.
Drift Zone's concept is basic enough as it is, but the broken physics and repetitive nature make it an exercise in patience. Fans of arcade racers are better off playing one of the classics.
If you like drifting this game might be for you. Unfortunately you can still feel smartphone past of this title and that make cars are too expensive. The game almost expects you to pay more, but there is no such option anymore. It's a nice small game haunted by straight port with a little thinking behind it.
