If you're looking for something to pass the time in local multiplayer, it's a fun premise for a while, but there's very little to keep you carving through its unfinished oceans in the long term.

Pirates: All Aboard! could have tried harder but other than some mild fun on multiplayer, there's very little this game has going for it. Very uninspired in terms of content, with an audiovisual environment that is pretty bleak and with a short lifespan, Pirates: All Aboard! is a game that will not leave its marking on the Nintendo Switch catalogue.

Pirates: All Aboard! is one to avoid on Nintendo Switch. It's too barebones to justify even its budget asking price and doesn't offer gameplay mechanics that would keep you coming back for more. The game is colorful, and the graphics aren't bad, and I didn't run into any bugs or glitches, but those are the only compliments I can give this one.
