The Watchmaker Reviews
Sadly, my beleaguered appreciation of The Watchmaker's aesthetic polish was not enough to carry me all the way through to the end. As it happens, I am brimming with caustic vitriol for timed dungeons of any sort, which you may notice is like, this entire game. I struggled mightily to push as far as I could, yet the infuriating sensation of constant dread built into this game's bones utterly broke me.
The Watchmaker have some interesting ideas but they are not well executed technically. Although the game has been released some time ago, the development studio has not solved many of the issues already reported on its PC version. Recommended for all the puzzle game fans but they need to be aware of the limitations that this title has.

I really wanted to like this game because using a person's age as a timer is a unique idea, but I found myself too aggravated at little things issues. Sure, it has some awesome graphics and music, but after adding up all the cons, I actually came to dread playing The Watchmaker. It's not the idea of the game, it's that I generally hate timed puzzles, especially if input lag is a problem. In my opinion, the game has a fantastic in concept and it was poorly executed at too many points.
