Critic Reviews for Super Volley Blast

The end result is a fun local multiplayer title. Even with the learning curve and occasionally slow pace, Super Volley Blast was a hit amongst myself, my friends, and my family. I will be spending some time with Super Volley Blast while hotly anticipating the next Super Blast game.

Super Volleyball blast didn't really have too many features that stuck out to me, however it did a great job at realistic volleyball play. Players who really enjoy volleyball will have fun with the game. Players looking for a sports title with highly detailed characters and gameplay may want to look elsewhere. It certainly isn't a bad game, but there isn't anything that makes it a must-have title.

Super Volley Blast is a fun, colorful and addictive arcade-style release on PlayStation 4 that will keep you coming back to play “just one more game” over and over again. The game managed to grab my attention right from the start, and I kept playing more and more to also work on unlocking the many trophies the game has to offer, because this one has a Platinum trophy to achieve with objectives such as winning matches in Story mode, playing many matches in all of the game's modes, saving many custom avatars, playing a quick match, winning a game after your opponent scores no points, performing 100 blocks and many more. The game is worth playing with more than enough content, a full trophy list, and a reasonable price.

While Super Volley Blast is a local multiplayer game to its core, it's a nicely crafted one that also has enough of an attempt at a single-player story to be entertaining there as well. This is a good arcade sports experience and is very much worth checking out if you want some good Switch multiplayer escapades.

When it comes to volleyball games, Super Volley Blast is definitely the best one that I ever played.

If you’re looking for an entertaining way to play some arcade volleyball Super Volley Blast does a pretty good job of delivering the goods. While it isn’t souped up with special attacks, meters, and the like it covers the bases of actual play pretty well, with the only major omission being the ability to block at the net. Throw in a Story mode that will make you work to unlock some increasingly silly and strange characters and if you’re a fan of the sport it sets you up pretty nicely for some fun.
