Defenders of Ekron is an amazing shoot 'em up. It mixes old-school forms with contemporary style to achieve a great title that, even though it doesn't have too much content, it's still a recommendable experience.

It's a respectable addition to the shmup genre, and if you have yet to give it a go, Defenders of Ekron: Definitive Edition is definitely the way to go.

If you're looking for a twin-stick shooter that sets itself apart by offering a huge and varied campaign then Defenders of Ekron: Definitive Edition will surely not disappoint.
