The Talos Principle 2 is a work that excels as a video game, excels as art, and excels as a reflection, thus becoming one of the best titles of the entire year. In addition to being a substantial improvement over its predecessor, Croteam has managed to materialize a beautiful production that stands out for its entertainment but, even more, transcends for its ability to make us revalue the beauty of humanity, life and existence.

8 / 10.0 - Ghostrunner 2
Oct 23, 2023

Ghostrunner 2 is, above all, a great video game. Strictly speaking, it is a pleasant sequel that represents a noticeable improvement in plot, playability, visuals and sound; an achievement that is, due to the quality of its predecessor, a milestone in itself. However, its profound technical shortcomings, as well as the misinterpretation of what made the original experience so genuine and fresh, keep it from transcending as much as the first, although it continues to be a highly recommended product.

10 / 10.0 - Lies of P
Sep 13, 2023

Being the best soulslike ever created, Lies of P is an absolute masterpiece that excels in the totality of what is proposed. With a captivating and intelligent reinterpretation of the fable of Pinocchio, with magnificent and demanding combats where the design of the bosses and levels are splendid, with a sublime and oppressive atmosphere that falls in love with each step and with a monumental soundtrack that exponizes every sensation, no video game had ever captured the essence of FromSoftware with such feat and personality, thus becoming one of the best titles of 2023.

8 / 10.0 - Summum Aeterna
Sep 13, 2023

The exoskeleton of Aeterna Noctis solidifies a roguelite that, without a doubt, comes to reaffirm that the spanish videogame development industry is already of global quality. Despite essential limitations that take it away from greatness, Summum Aeterna boasts hundreds of hours of entertainment for those who are willing to be absorbed by its demanding universe, thus becoming a respectable representative of a genre full of titans.

7 / 10.0 - Aeterna Noctis
Dec 13, 2021

‎Aeterna Noctis is everything expected of a metroidvania: extensive, demanding, cryptic and, above all, ready for mastery. Although multiple design decisions tarnish what would otherwise be a masterpiece without hesitation, it is pleasing and recommended for every fan of the genre, especially given its impressive artistic work and wonderful mythology.‎

7 / 10.0 - Aragami 2
Sep 15, 2021

‎If my relationship with stealth titles is toxic, Aragami 2 is one more symptom of that bond: I know that its mistakes are not reduced, but I can't help but ignore them in pursuit of their benefits. Lately, any criticism of its plot, its design or its technology succumbs to the simple but fundamental fact that it is satisfying and fun, leaving me with an experience that, without a doubt, I will remember fondly and recommend to every fan of the genre.‎

‎Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights is, in short, a masterpiece within the metroidvanias... and outside of them. Finesterra brings us one of the most memorable epics of the whole year, offering us a decadent universe as tragic as beautiful that perfectly adorns a precise, complex and fun gameplay. In short, an essential acquisition for fans of the genre, for non-followers of the genre and for anyone who wants to give a gift to themselves. Absolute recommendation.‎

‎Making its mastery a habit, Arc System Works further strengthens the value and relevance of its famous saga through a Guilty Gear -Strive- that stands as an essential acquisition for all fans of the fighting genre. In its role of perfecting the famed style that has characterized the franchise, this new iteration fully fulfills the mandate and is shaping up to become one of the most enjoyable titles of the entire current year.‎

‎After the seventh listed installment of the saga is responsible for renewing it in excellence, Resident Evil 8 Village arrives to fully refine the formula. As a continuation and as an independent title, Ethan Winters' last voyage is an exceptional work and, at the same time, loaths to be part of all the discussions about the best games of 2021 thanks to a proposal that combines nostalgia and novelty in perfectly equal parts.‎

7.5 / 10.0 - The Falconeer
Nov 6, 2020

The Falconeer is a commendable production that, despite being considerably repetitive, has interesting ideas and an attractive general proposal. Although boredom and monotony are its main threats, the video game of the admirable Tomas Sala manages to put aside its design problems to establish itself as a delivery that offers entertainment, uniqueness and, above all, beauty.

8.5 / 10.0 - The Sinking City
Jun 26, 2019

The Sinking City is an amazing experience, portraying a great interpretation of the pieces of H. P. Lovecraft. Adding together L.A. Noire with Sherlock Holmes, Frogwares gives us a game that blends private investigation, shooting and narrative into a believable world that is immersive and molded by our decisions, making us feel the true protagonist of the adventure.

7.5 / 10.0 - Far Cry: New Dawn
Feb 14, 2019

A very conservative bet that repeats without fear of imitation, an argument that lacks quality at all levels, a county that has changed almost nothing, a technological component that has left to be desired

Once again, The Elder Scrolls: Legends receives an amazing expansion with Isle of Madness. Through an excellent story, great and fresh mechanics and a perfect mix between the both of them, the journey to Sheogorath's home is absolutely recommendable for anyone, whether it is a newcomer or a veteran of the game.

9 / 10.0 - Darksiders III
Nov 26, 2018

Once again, the Horsemen offer us a masterpiece. Darksiders III, even with all the fear and skepticism behind the game, has managed to become a superb hack ‘n' slash. The personal journey of Fury against the Seven Deadly Sins is simply amazing, and everything is set towards the future for Strife to come and end this awesome epic.

6 / 10.0 - Inglorious
Nov 23, 2018

Inglorious is not a bad game, but it is a bad acquisition. This take comes from the fact that it lacks a multiplayer online mode, and it does not have enough content for the offline variant. It cannot be compared to the big MOBAs of the market, however, it can be an interesting game for those who want the strategic experience of the genre with a friend in the same screen.

4 / 10.0 - Pilot Sports
Oct 29, 2018

Pilot Sports is not a good game. It lacks fun, good and comfortable mechanics, content, variety, polish… Basically, we can only recommend it for its split-screen multiplayer but, even with that, what we actually suggest is to look for another option, because there are better titles in the genre.

Scribblenauts Mega Pack is a great game and, above all, a dense conjunction of two excellent games. Even if we cannot recommend it to every gamer because of its inherent singularity, we do recommend it for those who like adventures that feel fresh and innovative.

Even though is a good game, it's difficult to recommend Grimmwood. Not because it doesn't deserve it, because it does, but because, being a social experience, it needs a community to sustent its proposal, and not having one kills the escence of the title.

7.8 / 10.0 - Transference
Sep 20, 2018

Transference is a particular piece but, besides its lack of content and its abrupt final, it also is an interesting experience. With a compelling story, great sense of atmosphere and astonishing graphics, we recommend it to everyone who likes titles that go beyond being just a videogame.

8.7 / 10.0 - Shadows: Awakening
Aug 31, 2018

It might lack the decision making aspect of the RPG genre but, beyond that, Shadows: Awakening is an amazing game. The great mechanic of having multiple protagonists in one avatar makes every combat tactical in a distinguishbly way, which is tied to an adictive playable structure , an interesting history and a dense amount of content to create a epic adventure
