The Elder Scrolls Online: Wrathstone Reviews
Elder Scrolls Online: Wrathstone is an introductory set of dungeons designed to tell the story of how we get to Elsweyr and see the release of dragons upon the online version of Tamriel. The dungeons both have some incredible moments and boss battles, and definitely are above and beyond the usual simple releases we get when they are dungeon-only. Alongside the free update, Wrathstone is one of the better releases for Elder Scrolls Online in awhile and sets up nicely what needs to be a home run with the Elsweyr expansion.
Wrathstone kicks off the year-long Season of the Dragon, a new series of downloadable content for The Elder Scrolls Online. Each new DLC released this year will build off the last and continue the story throughout the year. The DLC plunges players into two new dungeons, each of which holds half of the Wrathstone. Players must work together in a team of four to help an artifact hunter recover the Wrathstone. The path is dangerous, but the content is fantastic.
With only two new Dungeons to explore, Wrathstone is a far more reserved DLC than Murkmire. However, its higher difficulty and prelude to Elsweyr make it thrilling never-the-less.
