Telefrag VR Reviews
Telefrag VR is a good attempt at a 1v1 VR arena shooter, though it feels basic in parts and there's a lack of content. When it gets going the action is fun, but there is quite a bit of downtime and it can get stale without any sense of progression. It's a good attempt fron Anshar Studios.
Telefrag VR is a solid attempt at bringing the arena shooter genre to virtual reality, but a lack of community may cut this game's life short.
While Telefrag VR might be light on content, what is there is fairly impressive. Each of the game's maps and weapons have strong identities that set them apart from one another, and the gameplay is exciting as well as polished. But ultimately, we're just really worried that not enough people are going to show up and play. Finding a match proved tricky almost immediately, and if this trend continues, there may not be reason to add content going forward, which is not what the title deserves. Prove us wrong. Please.
Even though Telefrag VR is fun at times, it mostly turned out to be a repetitive experience that's light on modes and features. I rarely found human players online and with barely any progression at all, I found the whole experience deflating. Its unfortunate, there are some good ideas buried underneath the surface of this VR shooter.
Telefrag VR does some interesting things but there may not be quite enough here to warrant giving this one a shot.
Telefrag VR features fast-paced gun-based combat but its content is rather limited, especially because it's for only up to 2 players.
