The latest, and final, update for Battlefield V has been released.

The final Battlefield V update has been released, and includes two new maps, nine new weapons, six new vehicles, five new gadgets, and three new types of grenades. The first new map is Al Marj Encampment, which is set in Libya, and is an infantry only map. The map supports 64 players on Conquest and Breakthrough, with additional configurations being available on Squad Conquest and Team Deathmatch. The second map is an expanded Provence. The map has been extended to include the farm land and areas around the outskirts of town, bringing tanks onto the battlefield in 64-player Conquest and Breakthrough.

Both of the new maps feature the U.S. and German armies as the two playable factions, with additional changes being made to Al Sundan, Twisted Steel, and Panzerstorm. Twisted Steel and Panzerstorm will continue to operate as UK and German factions on Grand Operations, and will not be adjusted in the mode. To further support the faction changes, new vehicles have been added to the U.S. faction. The number of U.S. soldier characters have been increased by 14, and 2 additional soldier characters have been added to Japan.

Even though this will be the last big update for Battlefield V, the game will still see support. There will be weekly rewards, as well as a number of events and activities, including Throwback Thursdays. There will also be Community Games Updates. Players will be updated on when they can expect them to start coming online. Work to combat cheating will still be worked on. It was not stated how cheating will be handled, as it can potentially make things worse. Players will be able to report suspected cheaters through their platform of choice.

Battlefield V is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
