Ubisoft has confirmed that the recent update to Far Cry 4 that censored some parts of the game was "unintended," and a fix has already been applied to reverse the changes. The Far Cry 4 update censored some elements of nudity in the decade-old title, leaving some fans worried about the ethics of changing games in such a way so long after release.

Far Cry 4 was initially released in November 2014 to critical and commercial success. It was its predecessor, Far Cry 3, that helped the franchise's popularity explode, but Far Cry 4's quality ensured it was here to stay.
