Iconic and terrifying Five Nights at Freddy's animatronic Springtrap is coming to Dead by Daylight, the long-running asymmetrical multiplayer horror game. DbD is no stranger to horror franchise collaborations, having previously brought characters from Resident Evil, Alien, and The Texas Chain Saw Massacre into the fold, among many others.
FNAF's Springtrap will be the latest Killer introduced to Dead by Daylight, marking a major milestone for both games. The announcement was made at a live broadcast from PAX East, with more details revealed on the Dead by Daylight website. Springtrap will be the featured Killer for DbD's upcoming Chapter, which will also make available a legendary outfit for the newcomer, based on Matthew Lillard's "Yellow Rabbit" version of the character from the Five Nights at Freddy's film adaptation. The collab will also bring a new map to DbD, based on Freddy Fazbear's Pizza.
Despite Freddy Fazbear being the face of FNAF, Springtrap is another clear choice to join DbD's Killer roster.
