Following a somewhat rocky and bug-filled launch, STALKER 2 is trying to get itself back on track in 2025. The next patch, version 1.5, is expected to drop this month with a series of fixes and adjustments as well as some new content.
Speaking to fans via the official Discord channel, developers GSC Game World confirmed that the update will release in the second half of June.
The update is also set to introduce two new weapons, the ability to loot mutants, and several A-Life improvements. A-Life, the game's internal system for the way AI lives and interacts with each other, was one of the main flaws of the game's initial release, with many players thinking the system was even absent from the game altogether.

The Q2 Roadmap published by the developers also mentions the ability to skip shader compilation, increased stash window and new widescreen support. However, one of the biggest items on the list is also the STALKER Original Trilogy Next-Gen Update.
