It looks like there's a very good reason why the rumoured God of War prequel game wasn't shown at the most recent State of Play, as it's reportedly been delayed into 2026.
As is a Summer tradition, last week was one of the busiest in some time for gaming news. PlayStation and Xbox both had their own dedicated showcases, while Summer Game Fest offered up a ton of announcements ranging across every console.
