God of War: Ragnarok had a definitive ending. Atreus went off on his own to fulfil his destiny, while the Valhalla DLC showed Kratos forgiving himself and taking on the role of the Norse God of War. While this chapter in the saga is over, Sony Santa Monica has been working on another game, but there's been no official information about it.

Rumours have suggested a return to the Greek realm, a metroidvania featuring his brother Deimos, who appeared in Ghost of Sparta, and even a remaster, but Sony Santa Monica has stayed quiet. Only yesterday, Bloomberg's Jason Schreier provided an update, saying that the upcoming project is the next big thing at the studio and it's progressing well.
