A Number of Events Are Coming to Pokémon GO in November

We now know what to expect from Pokémon GO in the month of November. 

On the Pokémon GO Blog, a number of events for Pokémon GO players to participate in for the month of November were revealed. Starting November 1st, Togetic, the Happiness Pokémon, will be available as a Research Breakthrough encounter. This will last until December 1st. There will also be a a Limited Research event on November 28th. The featured Pokémon for the event will be announced at a later date. 

Throughout the month of November, a number of Pokémon will be featured as Raid Bosses in five-star raids. Each week in November, there will be a Raid Hour event on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. local time featuring that week's Raid Boss. The raid Bosses can be seen below:

  • From Friday, October 23rd to November 5th, Darkrai will be available in five-star raids.
  • From November 5th to November 16th, a familiar Pokémon will make a return to five-star raids.
  • From November 16th to November 24th, Terrakion, Cobalion, and Virizion will be available in five-star raids.
  • From November 24th to November 30th, an unspecified Pokémon will be featured as a Raid Boss.

Throughout the month of November, there will be Pokémon Spotlight Hours. Every Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. local time, a different Pokémon will be in the spotlight, and players will receive a special bonus during that hour. You can see the Pokémon that will be in the spotlight during these events below:

  • On November 3rd, Cubone will be in the spotlight, and players will earn twice the Stardust for capturing Pokémon.
  • On November 10th, Jigglypuff will be the spotlight Pokémon, and players will earn twice the XP for catching Pokémon.
  • On November 17th, Meowth will be in the spotlight, and players will earn twice the Candy for catching a Pokémon.
  • On November 24, Barboach will be the spotlight Pokémon, and players will earn twice the Candy for transferring Pokémon.
