For The Second Time In Two Weeks, Baldur’s Gate 3 Console Players Just Got A Bunch Of New Content

Baldur's Gate 3, much like Cyberpunk 2077 was supposed to be, is done with regular content updates from developers Larian Studios. April's 'Patch 8' added new subclasses and updated the game's photo mode, with Larian expressing, "We've told the stories the way we needed to tell them. Patch 8 will be the last game patch to introduce new content."

But while Larian-developed content for Baldur's Gate 3 will be no more, users are getting a flurry of player-generated content to dive into. Just last week, players could download a "hair salon", new classes, and a concept art version of fan-favorite character Withers, and now, Larian has just added 20 more mods that console players can download.

While Baldur's Gate 3 console players may not have access to the array of mods that PC players have, more than 13,000 so far, Larian is doing everything it can to bring a selection of the best content from the latter to the former. Last week, the studio added 22 new mods to the console version of the game, and this week, players have just gained access to another 20.
