In a series of unfortunate developments, the official Stellar Blade Twitter account has been hacked by a rogue cryptocurrency group that is attempting to promote a Stellar Blade-themed coin.
As of this writing, the account has been compromised for over seven hours, with multiple posts referencing the coin, along with the sharing of some rather NSFW fan art. The game's creative director, Kim Hyung Tae, has urged fans to not engage with the account in any way.
In a statement shared on his personal Twitter, the creative director said that, on behalf of Shift Up, the company is asking "everyone to refrain from engaging with any of these posts and to remain cautious."
A follow-up post shared several hours later noted that Shift Up has determined the responsible party for the ongoing scam, and is currently attempting to get back their handles.
