Baldur's Gate 3 is stuffed to the brim with iconic characters, featuring award-winning performances from the likes of Neil Newbon, Samantha Beart, and Jennifer English, and they were more than helped by the game's excellent writing. We all know that Shadowheart is "God's favorite princess", which was a line of dialogue given to her as part of the game's prologue chapter which was added post-launch. It originally started out as a meme that actor Jennifer English had found on Twitter, who then proceeded to voice the line herself. It was so popular with both fans and Larian that the developers managed to work it into the game itself.
However, it was recently revealed that English didn't actually want to record that line in the first place.
