The House of Hope is one of the most interesting segments in Baldur's Gate 3. Planning a heist in the domain of a devil already sounds pretty cool, until you come across portals to other lands and even the contracts of those enthralled to Raphael. Of course, the big set piece battle against the devil himself, while he sings his own theme song is the cherry on top.
Amidst the heisting and demon fighting is a strange little character called Hope. We don't really know a lot about her, except that she has a certain authority over the House of Hope, despite Raphael being the de facto lord of the house, and her sister Korilla is in service to the demon. However, one fan theory may have shed some more light on who Hope really is.
The rather long theory, proposed by FusRoGah on Reddit, starts off by acknowledging that Hope is a cleric when we meet her, but we never learn who her deity is. There's also the question of the House of Hope being named after her, or vice-versa, and how Hope came to be subjected to enthrallment under Raphael.
It all started off when FusRoGah came...
