Act 3 of Baldur's Gate 3 kicks off with a worrying revelation - one of your campmates has been replaced by a shapeshifter! More specifically, Orin, as she infiltrates your group to keep an eye on your movements.
You're told to stay on your guard, but the only problem is that you actually can't. You can't interrogate anyone to see if they're the shapeshifter, and there's no change in behaviour that you can look out for. I guess Orin is just a really good impersonator. You only find out who was taken during a scripted event when Orin confronts you, revealing who the victim is, and that they've been taken to the Bhaal temple.
Now, after Baldur's Gate 3's second anniversary, fans are realising that there are more than a few plot holes here.
