We're now just over two weeks away from the launch of Dying Light: The Beast. Techland's survival horror series has flourished since launch, with the two previous titles, Dying Light and Dying Light 2 Stay Human, reaching over 50 million players. Because of this, there are lofty expectations on The Beast, especially given it features the return of the first game's beloved protagonist, Kyle Crane.
While Techland's full focus is undoubtedly on making Dying Light: The Beast perfect, its game director, Nathan Lemaire, has confirmed to TheGamer that discussions on the next game have already begun; however, they've been pretty informal, thus far.
Since 2015, Techland has been 'the Dying Light' company. While previously, it had developed games like Call of Juarez and Dead Island, the company has solely released Dying Light titles since the launch of the original game. Dying Light: The Beast will become the third entry into the now-beloved franchise. That hasn't stopped discussions from taking place and ideas from being thrown about for the next game, though.
