Cronos: The New Dawn only just launched today but players have already found a cheeky little Silent Hill 2 remake easter egg hiding in the game.

For a while, Bloober Team had a bit of a negative reputation when it came to horror games. The Medium, Layers of Fear, and The Blair Witch were all criticised for how they handled horror and more delicate themes, which made it quite a controversial surprise when it was revealed that it would be handling remaking a masterpiece like Silent Hill 2.

As we all know now, Bloober Team managed to nail Silent Hill 2 and bring it back for a whole new generation. Since that massive success, Bloober has been seen in a much kinder light, especially as it takes what it learned from Silent Hill and brings it over to a brand-new horror IP, Cronos: The New Dawn. Lessons aren't all it took from Silent Hill, though.
