Supergiant Games Would Really Rather Not Discuss Hades 3 Right After Hades 2’s Launch

Hades 2, you might have heard, just exited Early Access. Which is modern gaming-speak for, uh, it launched. Hades 2 1.0, as they say, is now a thing. Many people are noticing. Critics are over the moon with the game. Everybody adores it, or near enough, and really, Supergiant Games would love nothing more than for folks to think about Hades 2 for a hot second rather than pondering a potential Hades 3 already.

Fans being fans, we can't help it; myself, I rolled credits on the pretty good Final Fantasy 16 two years ago and immediately contemplated what Final Fantasy 17 might do better by comparison. I get it, and I'm sure Supergiant's studio director, Amir Rao, also gets it. But that doesn't mean he's been chatting away with the team about it - like, at all.
