Despite all those promises of boycotts, Ghost of Yotei looks like a guaranteed hit for PlayStation as it's the number one most pre-ordered game across the world on the PS Store.

After the massive success of Ghost of Tsushima, we've all spent the last five years waiting to see how Sucker Punch would continue the series forward. Last year, we got our first glimpse of that when Ghost of Yotei was finally revealed, confirming it'd take place in a brand new region and with a new protagonist instead of Jin Sakai.

Straight out of the gate, Yotei was hit with the usual boycott threats from some gamers for replacing Jin with new protagonist Atsu, with many harassing the character's actor, Erika Ishii, because of it. Boycott threats continued recently when a Sucker Punch developer was fired for their comments about Charlie Kirk, but it seems that those boycotts haven't had any momentum at all.

As pointed out by Twitter user Okami13_, Ghost of Yotei is currently the best-selling game on seemingly every PlayStation Store across the world, which could be because of the glowing reviews that just dropped. Of course, it's not a major surprise considering how popular Tsushima...
