In all likelihood, those dedicated enough to delve into the inner workings of Baldur's Gate 3 will be discovering cut content for years to come. In a game as vast as Baldur's Gate 3, there is inevitably a lot that doesn't make the final release. There's even some 'dropped' plot threads that did make the final release, but have no resolution.

A data miner named Autistichalsin recently posted some of their findings on Reddit, shedding light on a mythical argument between Halsin and Jaheira that people knew existed, but not the specific details.

The argument concerns the abandonment of the Shadow-Cursed Lands by Jaheira's Harpers, who left Halsin's Druids to face the curse alone to preserve their own people. Autistichalsin has made a couple of educated guesses to order this dialogue, which appears fragmented in the game's files.

Halsin: The Druids stood beside Harpers once, in this very land. But then you left, instead of helping push back this curse. You left, and my friends died. We were so close.
