It's The End Of An Era For Halo Infinite

Halo Infinite was meant to be the future of Halo for a long time to come, but that's officially coming to an end soon. Halo Studios has recently been placing an emphasis on other projects, announcing a pivot to Unreal Engine 5 and unveiling a remake of Halo: Combat Evolved. Now, the end of Halo Infinite's content updates is on the horizon.

In the November Community Livestream (available on YouTube), Halo Studios announced that the upcoming Operation Infinite will be the last major content update for the game. Operation Infinite's "free, 100-tier Operation Pass and 100-tier Premium Pass", which will add plenty of new armor sets, weapon models, and more.

Operation Infinite will also double the rate of earning Career Rank and Spartan Points to make progression faster across the board. Most new content in the update is set to arrive on November 18.

New maps forged by community members will also be added to a couple of Halo Infinite playlists in Operation Infinite. The festive map Yuletide joins the fast-paced Husky Raid and Super Husky Raid queues, while Ranked mode gets Vacancy, an urban map with a description that references the unnerving loneliness of Hotel California....
