Magic: The Gathering's PlayStation Secret Lair brought a bunch of beloved characters from Sony's various franchises to Magic. This included nine cards from God of War, five from the Greek saga and four from the Norse saga.
The most interesting of these additions are the Norse versions of Kratos and Atreus. These cards have the text 'Father & son' which allows you to use the pair as simultaneous commanders.
Both Kratos and Atreus synergise with the god creature type. Kratos accumulates 'experience' every time one of your god creatures attacks. At the end of your end step, this experience is cashed in as +1/+1 tokens.
Atreus, meanwhile, can be tapped for three mana, allowing you to draw a card for every experience counter you have. Atreus also deals two damage to each opponent when tapped in this manner.
Dystopia is crucial for mono black decks.
As you can imagine, some of the many Magic: The Gathering god cards that have been released over the years are seeing a spike in price because of Kratos and Atreus.
