Not too many people were happy with The Game Awards 2025 according to Geoff Keighley's own poll. Maybe it was because The Elder Scrolls 6 or Half-Life 3 were missing, or because Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 won everything. I'll bet the main reason people were unhappy was because of the event's underwhelming final reveal.

While the game itself looked okay at best, making it the final world premiere of the night definitely annoyed fans, who removed their frustration on it. It's already being called the next Concord.
There's still over a month for Highguard to launch, and many people are already dunking on it. It hasn't been an easy few years for multiplayer games, with many shutting down in a short amount of time.
