Hollow Knight: Silksong's First Expansion Has Been Revealed Out Of Nowhere, Coming 2026

Hollow Knight: Silksong has only been out for a couple of months, but fans have already managed to rinse pretty much everything there is to experience in Hornet's latest adventure. Understandably, that left many wanting more, and ever since one of the game's sound designers explained that they were still working on the title despite its release, the itches for an expansion had well and truly started.

We know that Team Cherry likes to pile expansions on top of a game, as the first Hollow Knight got four before they moved onto Silksong. Hidden Dreams, The Grimm Troupe, Lifeblood, and Godmaster were all free updates that added a bunch of stuff to the original Hollow Knight, and it was pretty likely that Silksong would get the same treatment. In fact, we now actually know when the first one is coming.
