Dispatch unfortunately didn't win anything at The Game Awards, despite being such a popular game. Despite this, fans really want to know if it will get a second season. Developer AdHoc Studio has mentioned that it hasn't decided if it will work on season two, but they probably didn't expect us to love their game so much.
There's a lot to consider when it comes to a second season. Will it follow the same characters? Will there be a time skip? What is the canon ending of season one? All of these questions need answers before making a decision. However, the devs do have some idea of what will be included in a potential season 2.
In a conversation with Eurogamer, director Nick Herman and lead writer Pierre Shorette spoke about what it would take for season two to be possible, and what they'd include in it if it was. The two joked about a character that was cut from Dispatch – Winter, who was sort of inspired by K-pop idols.
