Final Fantasy 14 is a pretty janky game. I love it dearly, but sometimes it feels like it's being held together with shoestrings, chewing gum, and a couple of prayers. A lot of the problems with the game come down to the "spaghetti code", as fans like to call it, and now and then, a bug so unbelievably strange will seep through and cause a few giggles here and there.
With the release of Patch 7.4 earlier this week, we now have a new one to contend with, but instead of getting angry or calling the game broken and janky, this bug has actually managed to amass somewhat of a cult following.
As explained by Reddit user Jado1stk2 in the post above, Patch 7.4 has a rather strange bug which causes a certain type of enemy to "erroneously spawn" in the Coerthas Western Highlands, which are back in Heavensward. These enemies look like your typical Steinbock that you'd normally find in the area, but are instead tagged with "Lv 1" and that's pretty much it. In the game's party chat and logs, it's officially referred to as a single dot.
Is Jonathan Bailey just sick, or has...
