Starfield's Next Update Is Reportedly Going To Be "A Big One", And Is Being Compared To Phantom Liberty

Remember Starfield? Yeah, me neither, but Bethesda has promised that work on the game's post-launch support is still ongoing, with a second expansion supposedly in the works alongside a PS5 version. We don't know exactly when Bethesda plans on releasing these, but multiple reports have pegged them for a 2026 launch.

That being said, we really don't know exactly what Starfield has to offer us anymore, as the game hasn't exactly set the world on fire since its release back in 2023. Its first expansion, Shattered Space, went down relatively okay, but was just as much of a flash in the pan as the base game was. To be honest, I'm surprised that Bethesda is still willing to support the title, what with The Elder Scrolls 6 now constantly on people's minds. It's still soldiering away though, and according to one insider, the game's next update may be one to pay attention to.
