Tencent's "Horizon Clone" Is Dead As It Disappears From Storefronts

It seems the legal troubles between Sony and Tencent may be over for now. Sparked by a game called Light of Motiram, the lawsuit, which alleged Tencent's game was a clone of PlayStation's Horizon series, has been settled, and the game has been pulled from Steam and the Epic Games Store.

The Game Post has provided an update on the lawsuit, which was filed by Sony earlier this year after it and the rest of the world were given their first look at Light of Motiram. The two parties have reached a settlement, and although the finer details of what was agreed between them aren't entirely clear, you can no longer find Light of Motiram on PC storefronts.

The game hadn't been released, nor was it available to pre-order, but you were able to wishlist it before today.

Despite the settlement, Light of Motiram's sudden disappearance from Steam and the Epic Games Store suggests that whatever was agreed upon between Tencent and Sony, the game is not going to be released as planned.
