Larian Will Be Hosting An AMA To Clear The Air After The Divinity AI Discourse

It's been a rough few days for industry darling, Larian, after CEO Swen Vincke revealed that gen-AI will be used in the development of Divinity. Vincke reiterated that AI art will not make it into the final game, but the debate and accusations had already taken off, with other devs weighing in and even Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 getting dragged into it.

It seems Larian now wants to clear the air with fans and explain exactly what Vincke was trying to say. The CEO announced that the studio will host an AMA session where fans will be able to ask different departments about the development of Divinity, especially how AI will be used in the process.

"It’s been a week since we announced Divinity, our next RPG, and a lot has become lost in translation," said Vincke's tweet. "Larian’s DNA is agency. Everything we work towards is to the benefit of our teams, games, and players. A better work day, and a better game. Our successes come from empowering people to work in their own way and bring the best out of their skill & craft, so that we can make the best RPGs we can possibly make."
