A former Rockstar Games animator who worked on GTA 5 has suggested that GTA 6 can't be pushed back again, since another delay would cause the hype to completely "die down".
When it was announced last month that Rockstar was once again pushing Grand Theft Auto 6 back (this time to November 2026), a lot of us figured that had to be the last delay the game ever saw. Mind you, we were all saying that when GTA 6 was originally pushed to May 2026, so it really is possible that it could miss yet another release date.
With Rockstar currently battling legal issues with alleged union busting and another trailer nowhere to be seen, the rumours of GTA 6 getting delayed for a third time have kept on growing. That is something that Rockstar knows can't happen, though, at least according to a former developer who worked closely with the team.
