Jennifer English has become a household name in video games thanks to her starring roles in Baldur's Gate 3 and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. However, Larian's plans to revive Divinity after its Baldur's Gate detour have reminded those in the the know that long before she was Shadowheart, English provided the voice for a talking chest.
Not only a talking chest, but also Leya, and around 70 other voices in Divinity: Original Sin 2, the last game Larian developed before Baldur's Gate 3, and the world it will return to for Divinity. Although Leya is the Original Sin 2 role English is best known for, it's her brief cameo as a talking chest that has gone viral since Divinity became the talk of the town thanks to its Game Awards reveal.
