Even Total War's Devs Are Confident Medieval 3 Will Release Before Elder Scrolls 6

Listen, at this point, we're all aware of how long it's been since The Elder Scrolls 6 was first announced, and all the years that have passed since then without even a trailer. And given Todd Howard's own words, it seems like that wait isn't going away anytime soon either.

For those not in the know, it's been a little over seven years since The Elder Scrolls 6 was announced. Famously, Bethesda revealed it in June 2018, largely in response to the negativity that surrounded Fallout 76, a title that fans and Bethesda themselves have massively turned around on.

All that is to say, it's become a meme in gaming circles, and it seems that even other game developers are in on the joke. Because as first spotted by GamesRadar, Roger Collum, vice president of the Total War series, believes that the recently — and we mean recently — announced Total War: Medieval 3 is almost certainly dropping before TES 6.

Skyrim arrived on Nintendo Switch 2 last week, and it's about to be followed up by another video game legend.
