As we approach the end of 2025, most of us will probably be looking into next year to see what exciting games we can expect to be playing. One of the most highly-anticipated by many is 007 First Light, an origin story for James Bond that looks far more Uncharted than anything developer IO Interactive has made before.
We've seen a lot of the game so far, as IO has managed to cram the game into almost every big gaming showcase it can, last appearing at The Game Awards to reveal that none other than Lenny Kravitz will be starring in the game. It was also here that the game's March 27 release date was once again shared, but less than two weeks on, that date has now changed.
In a statement on Twitter, IO Interactive CEO Hakan Abrak announced that 007 First Light will no longer release on March 27, and has been pushed back by a couple of months. Instead, the game will release on May 27, but before you go worrying about how the game's development is coming along and fretting that this delay means the game is doomed, Abrak had a few words of reassurance....
