A New Spyro Game From Toys For Bob Has Seemingly Been Confirmed By Developer Portfolio

For a while now, rumors have been flying about what exactly Crash Bandicoot and Spyro developer Toys For Bob is currently working on, now that it's gone independent. We know that Xbox and Activision are both heavily involved, as admitted by studio head Paul Yan, and there have been whispers of a potential Spyro the Dragon revival among insiders.

Toys for Bob itself has even been teasing what feels like an imminent Spyro the Dragon announcement, responding to emails from YouTuber Canadian Guy Eh in purple, and adding a purple box with a question mark inside to its own website. They're being awful teases at the moment, but we finally have what appears to be soft confirmation that something Spyro-related is going on at the studio right now.

In a new video by Canadian Guy Eh, he shares the LinkedIn profile of a former senior concept artist at Toys for Bob called Donald Yatomi, who worked at the studio between August 2022 and March 2024.
