Developer and publisher Forever Entertainment has announced that the aptly-named Front Mission 3: Remake will be launching on PC and non-Switch consoles in January, and that you'll be able to check out a demo today.

Per a new trailer, Front Mission 3: Remake lands on January 30th. The demo in question will be downloadable via both Steam and GOG on PC, as well as on all of the consoles on which the remake will be available.

Front Mission 3: Remake was originally released as a timed Switch console exclusive in June. It's the followup to two previous remakes in the series, both of which were also developed by Forever Entertainment; they're all reimagined versions of strategy RPGs originally released during the 90s.

The third game in the series follows two wanzer pilots, Kazuki Takemura and Ryogo Kusama, as they navigate one of the franchise's signature political dramas, fraught with exactly the kind of dramatic twists and turns you'd hope for in a mecha RPG.

Just like the Switch version, the PC and console versions of Front Mission 3: Remake come complete with reworked visuals and gameplay, making this remake a smoother prospect than its PlayStation predecessor....
