Out of nowhere and 12 years after its release, Geometry Dash has smashed its previous all-time player peak on Steam and set a new record of over 100,000 concurrent players.

We all know what Geometry Dash is. The iconic and often painfully difficult rhythm platformer has been a staple since it first launched on mobile all the way back in 2013, before being ported over to Steam at the end of 2014. Although Geometry Dash hasn't changed all that much in the years since it released, it's still kept a massive audience.

Real ones remember The Impossible Game on Xbox 360, which is incredibly similar to Geometry Dash and actually came out a few years before.

If, like me, you figured that the Geometry Dash community wasn't particularly active, you might be surprised to learn that the game has a dedicated fanbase that is still playing the game more than a decade later. In fact, that fanbase is bigger than ever, as proven by its new all-time concurrent player count.
