If this isn't the biggest news we drop today, then this is a far busier Wednesday than I had anticipated when I clocked in this afternoon. Behold, God of War fandom. We finally have our Kratos for Amazon Prime Video's upcoming, highly-anticipated, television series.
Ryan Hurst is officially taking up the mantle from Stargate veteran Christopher Judge, and while I'll never be able to "let go" of Judge's incredible voice, I have no doubt that Hurst is going to kick ass in this role. How certain are we of this little revelation? Incredibly certain, because it comes straight from Amazon themselves...
This isn't even Hurst's first Greek/Norse rodeo, as he voiced Thor in God of War Ragnarok. Go figure, right? His biggest claim to fame might very well be his role as Opie Winston in Sons of Anarchy. His decades-ranging career spans everything from Saving Private Ryan to CSI Miami, and he had a role in the latter seasons of The Walking Dead.
