Despite selling ten million copies at launch, Monster Hunter Wilds was one of the biggest disappointments of 2025 for a lot of people. The latest entry in the Monster Hunter series has PC optimization problems that persist to this day, almost a year on from its release. However, one player thinks they may have found a fix for the problem, and if they're right, it should be a relatively easy one for Capcom to make.
The problem appears to lie in Monster Hunter Wilds' DLC, or rather, a lack of it. There are a lot of optional paid cosmetics in Wilds. Additional content that will cost you hundreds of dollars if you buy all of it. A large chunk of you probably haven't bought any additional content, and only the smallest sliver of the Wilds community will have forked out for everything the newest Monster Hunter has to offer.
