Capcom just held a rather close-to-release showcase focused on Resident Evil Requiem, which gave us our first proper look at Leon's gameplay along with some other surprises.
You might find it hard to believe, considering it wasn't that long ago when Resident Evil Requiem was first announced, but we're just over a month away from the long-awaited ninth Resi game's release. It's been a long road in that time, with many rumours, leaks, and wishes for Leon Kennedy to stop being treated like a dirty little secret.
Last month, Capcom finally stopped pretending that Leon wasn't in the game and confirmed he's its second playable character. Now with the release of Requiem on the near horizon, the studio has held a Resident Evil Showcase focused on the upcoming game that gave us more proper Leon footage and revealed a few other things as well.
