Battlefield 6 was a major hit for EA, even cited by former Activision CEO Bobby Kotick as one of the primary reasons for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7's lacklustre performance this year.

With a debut peak of 747,000 concurrent players, it was by far the strongest opening in the franchise, but thanks to aggressive monetisation, AI-generated artwork, small maps, buggy updates, and Season 2's delay, the game has quickly lost that momentum.

Right now, it has a 24-hour concurrent peak of 89,932 on Steam, and while that's nothing to scoff at, it marks an 88 percent decline in just four months. To put that into perspective, listed below are the top 20 most-played games on the platform in the last 24 hours.
