Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot's recently released Daima DLC has restarted the debate about whether Goku knew about Super Saiyan 4 and was hiding the transformation all along.
When Dragon Ball Daima finally revealed its trump card in the form (literally) of a new version of Super Saiyan 4 for Goku, it was unarguably the highlight of the whole show. That being said, it raised some major questions about Dragon Ball's lore, particularly when it comes to everything that happens after Daima.
Not only does Goku having a stronger form than SSJ3 up his sleeve make his future battles seem like he was holding back, but a conversation with Vegeta at the end of the show has some fans questioning whether he knew about Super Saiyan 4 or along, or whether Neva activated it for him.
