You Can Use The Spider Pit To Clear Out The Goblin Camp Without A Fight In Baldur's Gate 3

When you're on your third or fourth playthrough of Baldur's Gate 3, simply walking to a place and initiating combat just doesn't feel the same anymore. Don't get me wrong, the game is still interesting and will throw some new content at you every time, but you're probably hoping for more of a challenge, or a more unorthodox way of doing things.

That's precisely what Reddit user Major_incompetence did when they had to clear out the goblin camp in act two. Instead of simply charging in and fighting their way to the top, they decided to manipulate the game's mechanics and get the goblins to fight the spiders in the pit below. The tower battle became a gladiatorial arena for them.

The goblins inhabit the tower, while the chasm below is infested with spiders. The chasm usually acts as an alternate route into the internal part of the goblin camp, but this method turns it into a means to clear it out without combat. The key element to this is the Scrying Eye that you'll find hovering around near where Minthara usually is.
